  3. Just Imagine! The Miracles of Kriyas Yam Suf

Just Imagine! The Miracles of Kriyas Yam Suf

    $21.95

An original, fascinating rendition of the miracles of Kriyas Yam Suf

    Dear Children,

This book is a continuation of We're Leaving Egypt, the Just Imagine comic about Yetzias Mitzrayim. This volume is intended to illustrate for children living in our generation, the wondrous miracles which were performed for our forefathers at Yam Suf. At the time of Kriyas Yam Suf, of course, there were no cars, tanks, or airplanes. This book attempts to describe, in an entertaining and entirely imaginary way, what the splitting of the sea might look like if it took place today.

The world has changed drastically in the thousands of years that have passed since Yetzias Mitzrayim and therefore, it is very hard for us to feel the reality that existed in those days. It's hard for us to connect to the power of the wondrous miracles that occurred. It's hard for us to understand how astounding and exceptional they were—so much so that the mind can hardly grasp it...

But the truth is that the miracles then were not significantly different than similar miracles that could take place in our time...When the sea split for Bnei Yisrael, who crossed it as if it was dry land—it was an unbelievable miracle, just like it would be unbelievable if the sea split today and we would be able to drive through it on paved roads. When grass grew from the sea bed that froze—miraculously—it was a wonder of wonders, just like it would be a marvel in our time, if a gas station would "sprout" from the depths of the ocean...The same applies to all the other remarkable miracles.

You're invited to join the Yidden leaving Egypt and cross the Yam Suf with them!

Experience for yourself the amazing miracles that accompanied them every step of the way. Learn More

  7. Ahrele #4, The Incredible, Touching Story of Rav Aharon Margalit

Ahrele #4, The Incredible, Touching Story of Rav Aharon Margalit

    $19.00

Many children struggle with various difficulties and challenges and as a result feel very, very sad and unfortunate. Loyal readers who have followed the Ahrele series know my life story. You know that I, too, had to cope with extremely difficult challenges from a very young age. I, too, felt very unfortunate. I had a lot of anger bottled up inside me; I couldn't understand what I had done to deserve so many difficulties.

I was paralyzed - and that came along with a lot of physical and emotional pain and suffering; I had to be far away from my home and family for years - and that made me feel terribly lonely; I was so jealous of other children because they had relatives who visited and brought them treats and games, while my only visitor was my mother, who only came once a week for a short visit.

I stuttered for years, which made it hard for me socially. Other people were not always very understanding, and I often felt that everyone looked down on me. Who better than me can understand what you're going through? It is from this place of understanding that I want to share with you, dear boys and girls, what helped me stop feeling pathetic and sorry for myself and begin building my personality - slowly and with lots of siyatta d'Shemaya.

Already at a young age I understood that I would not be able to change reality. Hashem gives each person a certain set of circumstances to work with, based on the qualities of his neshamah and his unique mission in this world. We have no control over that. None of us can decide who his father or mother will be, who his siblings will be, or what blood type he will have. Hashem decides that.

But how to deal with the reality we are given is completely in our hands. The Torah commands us to "choose life," and the Gemara teaches us: "Ein ha-davar talui ela bi - Only I can help myself." Once I understood this and accepted my situation, I stopped complaining about how unfair my life was and focused instead on just one thought: What can I do in my present circumstances to help myself? That was the beginning of my growth. As long as a person is complaining, grumbling, jealous of others, and thinking about everything he doesn't have - he cannot grow. Such thoughts weaken him and prevent him from making any progress. When a person accepts the reality of his life, on the other hand, and focuses on what he can do within his reality to help himself, he is in a position to really grow. Everything actually depends on a person's perspective, because our perspective creates our thoughts and decisions, and those, in turn, create the reality of our lives.

The stories in this book will, b'ezras Hashem, illustrate this lesson. Learn More

  9. Just Imagine! We're Going to the Beis Hamikdash, An original, fascinating portrayal of the simchah in the Beis Hamikdash during the Yom Tov of Sukkos

Just Imagine! We're Going to the Beis Hamikdash, An original, fascinating portrayal of the simchah in the Beis Hamikdash during the Yom Tov of Sukkos

    $21.95

Dear Children, Many years ago, when the Beis Hamikdash was standing, there was a great celebration in Yerushalayim. It was called the simchas beis hasho’evah. The joy then was so great that Chazal teach us that anyone who did not see the simchas beis hasho’evah – never saw true joy in his life! Perhaps you want to reply that today there are also simchas beis hasho’evah celebrations in almost every shul, and you’ve participated in many such events…But truth be told, the simcha that we have today is not the same – it’s only a commemoration of the real simchas beis hasho’evah, which took place in the Beis Hamikdash and from which people drew purity and ruach hakodesh, and were uplifted for the entire year! Halevai, we should merit to see that wondrous simchas beis hasho’evah even once! Halevai we should merit it speedily in our days, in the third Beis Hamikdash that will come down from the Heavens in fire! But in the meantime, let us try to imagine how the simchah would look, and how preparations for the entire Yom Tov of Sukkos would take place in Yerushalayim, if the Beis Hamikdash were standing today… This book can help a little bit to illustrate this wonderful scene, to try and help us feel a bit of the atmosphere of the true, tangible simchah that was apparent in every corner of the holy city. Perhaps, if we truly understand the magnitude of the loss, we will know how to daven properly before our Father in Heaven to return the Beis Hamikdash and the Holy City to us, speedily in our days. And who knows? Perhaps this year, we will merit celebrating Sukkos in the newly rebuilt Beis Hamikdash!!! Learn More

    Just Imagine! We're Bringing Bikkurim

    $21.95

An original and exciting modern-day portrayal of the bringing of the First Fruits to the Beis Hamikdash

Bikkurim is a very special mitzvah. Every mitzvah is special, of course ...But the mitzvah of bikkurim is unique because it was a major event. Masses of Yidden participated, and it was always very moving and extraordinary.

The bikkurim were not brought by individuals, all the people of an area went together. They made their way to Yerushalayim in a huge procession, with singing and dancing. Many people joined them along the way. Can you imagine how wonderful the scene was? How much joy was in the air? How much excitement?

In this book-which is entirely imaginary-we will try to experience a bit of the simchah and kedushah we would absorb, if we had the Beis Hamikdash in our day.

Hopefully, Hashem will bring the geulah sheleimah and rebuild the Beis Hamikdash very soon, so we can once again bring our bikkurimthere, with great joy, each and every year! Learn More
