  1. Rabbi Yaakov Bender is an esteemed Rosh Yeshivah. Hailed as one of the most visionary and dedicated mechanchim of our time, Rabbi Bender deeply understands children, parents, and the challenging world that we live in.

Because of his worldwide reputation, thousands of parents, educators and, of course, children turn to him with their questions. They know that the answers they receive from him will be wise and compassionate, based firmly on Torah values and his many decades of teaching -- and caring for -- children of all ages.

In Chinuch With Simchah, Rabbi Bender shares hundreds of real questions that have been sent to him, together with his wise and insightful answers.

    • Will giving a child a “kosher” MP3 player open the door to dangerous technology, or will it prevent the child from discovering more problematic devices?
    • At what age is it appropriate for a child to go to the funeral of a grandparent?
    • Eretz Yisrael is at war, and my twelve-year-old daughter wants to go to an ice cream party. Should we tell her it’s inappropriate?
    • How should I, as a parent, and my child, deal with a courtyard bully? And what if the bully is an adult?

These questions, and of course, Rabbi Bender’s answers, offer parents and teachers a practical and effective guide to raising children with joy – and raising joy-filled children. Learn More

  2. Every woman has the ability to joyously develop her relationship with Hashem and to build herself through the circumstances of her life. Every woman can be a world of positive influence for those around her. But sometimes, we need a little help figuring out how to do it.

Ohel Rochel is the instruction manual we need.

For over twenty-five years, Rochel Miller has shared the wisdom of this sefer with women all over the world. The Simchah of Marriage is a taste of her classes: a combination of deep Torah ideas coupled with practical exercises and easy-to-remember catchphrases. This is the mesorah of learning to understand who we are and maximizing our potential to create a life and a marriage brimming with the satisfaction of simchah.

“Rochel Miller’s classes transformed my marriage and my life. She taught me that if you change your own attitude and behavior, you will change your marriage — with amazing results.”

    Sara Yoheved Rigler, bestselling author

“Mrs. Miller's shiurim on building the Jewish home have changed the lives of thousands.”

Rabbi Leib Kelemen, Rosh Kollel, Center for Kehillah Development

Rochel Miller was raised in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Holocaust survivors. She married Manny Miller, z”l, and together they raised a beautiful, growing family in Queens, NY, until they immigrated to Israel in 1993. Mrs. Miller spent her first eleven years in Israel learning the secrets of the eternal Jewish home with Rebbetzin Talya Helfer. The class was based on the sefer, Ohel Rochel. Realizing that this precious learning was missing in the English-speaking world, Mrs. Miller was inspired to share her learning through teaching. Her classes began in Jerusalem 25 years ago, and now take place in person and over Zoom in Israel, USA, South Africa and England. The classes have been called “life-changing,” “healing,” and “medicine for our generation.” This book, The Simchah of Marriage, is a continuation of Mrs. Miller’s classes, a gift for the many women who have felt deprived and unaware of the true inner peace and goals of the Jewish marriage. Information about Mrs. Miller’s classes and hashkafic marriage counseling can be found on our website, simchahofmarriage.com.

  3. A Comprehensive Torah-Based Guide To A Happy And Well-Balanced Marriage

The Dos and Don’ts of Staying Happily Married gives couples the proper keys to achieving happiness throughout their married lives. Proper hadrachah is the first step to a successful marriage. Entering marriage without it is like trying your luck to repair a complicated electronic device. You could be lucky and connect the right wires to make it work, but making a slight mistake could ruin the entire device.

In this essential book, readers will benefit from the clear guidelines of Torah teachings, including Chazal and contemporary rabbanim, as well as from the author’s extensive counseling experience. Together, these provide life-changing tools for staying happily married — forever.

“Marriage opens the door to simchas ha’chaim and has the ability to improve every dimension of one’s life. However, one needs the proper keys to enter; if the keys are broken, he’ll break through the door, causing disastrous results and the ruination of his life.”

  6. Special voices, special stories, in a very special book.

Everyone who knew him was mesmerized by Saadya Ehrenpreis a”h, the young man with Down Syndrome who confounded all the experts. He would be totally dependent for every basic need, the doctors predicted; he had little or no chance of ever communicating. Yet Saadya developed into a man who could read in Hebrew and English, traveled by himself to learn in Eretz Yisrael, and attended the Makor College Experience program at Yeshiva University.

After his untimely passing from COVID-19, his mother, Ahava Ehrenpreis, a talented author, chose to memorialize his life through filling a pressing need — providing a book that would serve as both a resource and an inspiration to parents, relatives, friends, and professionals dealing with children and adults who have special needs. More: To compile a book for everyone who believes that every person is special and should be treated with understanding, compassion, acceptance, and respect.

More Than Special is that book — a book for those who want to deepen and expand their own ahavas Yisrael. And doesn’t that mean all of us?

    More Than Special includes:

The voices — authentic, honest, and heroic — of parents who give us a greater understanding of the challenges — and miracles — of raising special needs children

Advice from social workers and experts in the field of special education on how to create opportunities for individuals with special needs

Guidance in legal and financial safeguards for special-needs children and adults

Rabbanim discussing halachic and hashkafic issues of the special-needs population, including poignant and heartfelt words of chizuk from Rav Moshe Shapiro and the Pnei Menachem Learn More
