A Taste of Maharal provides a cross section of ideas and adaptations selected from the Maharal’s extensive writings and is annotated to include the full text of the Maharal’s own words in the original Hebrew.

As the name implies, this sefer offers the English-speaking world a taste of the Maharal’s prodigious teachings — many of which appear here in English for the first time.

Rabbi Doniel Baron is an international Torah educator and a disciple of Rav Moshe Shapira, zt”l, one of the greatest experts in jewish thought in recent generations. Spanning a period of over seventeen years, Rabbi Baron translated and adapted hundreds of Rav Shapira’s lectures, making them available to English-speaking audiences throughout the Jewish world. Rabbi Baron learned in the Mir Yeshiva and the Jerusalem Kollel. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife and children.
