  1. Imagine you’re sitting in front of your holy Chanukah candles, taking in their amazing radiance. Then, unexpectedly, you hear a knock on the door. You open the door and a brilliant light shines into your home - a tzaddik has come to visit you. You sit down with him and begin to tell him what you’re going through. He responds to you in such a way that comforts you and awakens a yearning for Hashem in your heart. You learn together with the tzaddik, and you realize that his teachings can completely transform your life. Afterwards, the tzaddik says he has to go, and he invites you to follow him outside the door. You build up your courage, and leave your home... Just then, the tzaddik lifts you up, and you start flying with him in the sky!

This is a glimpse into the Chanukah vision by Rebbe Nachman of Breslov that gives us new hope, brings us closer to the great tzaddikim, and inspires us to find Hashem in all aspects of our lives. Learn More

  2. Our world feels so full of upheaval. Everything seems to be changing more and more quickly. Externally, we feel beset by darkness and surrounded by a long, cold winter. Will spring ever come?

The teachings in this book are drawn from shiurim of Rav Moshe Weinberger.

In them, Rav Weinberger shows how to use the light of the Chanukah menorah to look deep inside other people, ourselves, the events around us, and the world itself to fuel our journey to a revealed relationship with our loving Father above.

This book includes teachings broken up for each of the eight nights of Chanukah, for Shabbos Chanukah, The Order of Lighting the Chanukah Lights and a number of tefillos to say after lighting the candles.

May the teachings in this book illuminate our eyes with the inner light of the Chanukah candles. Learn More

  10. Emerging From Darkness, Chanukah
We all search for meaning in our lives. Masters of Jewish thought such as the Maharal, Ramchal, Rav Tzadok, and the Sfas Emes provide for us deeper meaning and understanding of Torah, mitzvos, and life. Often, however, to fathom their teachings, it is necessary to have a broad knowledge and grasp of Torah and their works. Rabbi Ahron Rapps peels away the layers of darkness and shines penetrating light upon their lessons, providing his readers with a familiarity and keen awareness of their role in God’s creation. His words shine forth as a menorah on a dark night, drawing us closer to vital concepts and holy acts. Prior to when he began his weekly column on these matters in the Yated, I did not know Rabbi Rapps. I turned to our rebbi, Rabbi Moshe Shapiro, for guidance as to whether to offer him a column. He accepted responsibility for Rabbi Rapps and greatly encouraged me to publish his columns. I am confident that he and the other great rebbeim of Rabbi Rapps are celebrating the publication of this work, which serves to further dispel the darkness of the exile and will lead to the return of the great light that will shine with the coming of Mashiach speedily in our day. –Rabbi Pinchos Lipschutz Rabbi Ahron Rapps, the rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Zichron Shraga in Brooklyn, NY, is a talmid of Mesivta Yeshiva Rabbi Chaim Berlin and of Rav Moshe Shapiro, zt”l. He writes articles on divrei machshavah in Yated Neeman and has been giving shiurim on those inyanim in many venues as well as having been a madrich to his many talmidim over the years. He is the rav of Kahal Shaarei Tefillah of Blue Ridge in Waterbury, CT. Learn More
